Jochum Scholars

The Jochum Scholars is a scholarship established to reward students and families who are actively involved at DeSales and in the community. To apply, please fully complete the below questions. The scholarship may be renewed if the student and family continue to meet the criteria below. However, students must apply each year. All applications must be submitted by March 31, 2025. Families must be current with their tuition payment obligations.
Student must adhere to DeSales policies.
Student must have a completed all school required service hours PLUS a minimum of an additional five service hours by April 1, 2025.
The student’s guardian must be an active volunteer at DeSales which may include, but not be limited to, advancement department-sponsored events (Alumni Golf Scramble, Benefit Feast, Bourbon Brew & Bites Bash, Open House, Placement Test), athletics volunteer opportunities, and phonathon.
Student should be an active member of DeSales, church or parish, or greater community with a minimum of three extracurricular activities.
Student must have a demonstrated financial aid need (complete FACTS application).
