DeSales is excited to announce that renovations have begun on the new Gaming Innovations Lab (GIL) - opening in Fall 2020. This new lab will house twelve state of the art gaming computers, giving students access to multiple video game design classes including “Intro to 3D Design,” and “Intro to Video Game Design, as well as advanced level classes in 2021-20.
Along with the design curriculum, this new state of the art facility will give space for players to practice and compete in the newly sanctioned KHSAA sport, E-Sports.
The GIL is another example of how DeSales strives to put technology and 21st Century STEM skills at the forefront of a DeSales education. From coding, to hands-on learning, to team building, the GIL will be an outlet for all students to be who they are and be that well.
