Received BS and Masters of Mechanical Engineering at University of Louisville, PhD in Bioengineering at University of Pennsylvania, worked at Medtronic.

Where are you and what are you doing now?
In Louisville after living in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Memphis where I am a stay at home Dad of 3 children.
What do you like most about what you are doing?
I get to be involved in my children's lives and support their school and the community.
What is your favorite memory about DeSales?
Tough. Being on the first volleyball team, playing tennis and academic team, winning a runner up (varsity) and a championship (JV) in French Scrabble, cheering the Colts during a basketball victory over PRP, Senior retreat, Pizza Hut on Friday nights with friends after football games.
Who influenced you most during your time at DeSales?
Bill Luyster and Father Kyrin Caggiano
What classes and learning experiences did you have at DeSales that are beneficial to the work you do?
Physics, Chemistry (especially lab), English
What is the most important thing you learned while you were at DeSales?
That I am responsible for my work. I was more prepared for college that I realized until I saw others struggle through things I thought were simple.
What advice do you have for current (or potential) students at DeSales?
Challenge yourself, there are opportunities to try many different activities and sports at DeSales that you wouldn't get at larger schools, take advantage of that.
What is your favorite DeSales Event? Why?
Benefit Feast. It helps DeSales, I get to catch up with friends and family, and maybe get tickets to Derby or Oaks
What do you like to do in your free time?
Read, coach or observe kids' sports, fly planes
What is something people may not know about you?
I've refereed football for 20 years and have a private pilot's license
Do you still stay in touch with any of your DeSales friends?
Yes
What’s next for you/where do you see yourself in five years?
Not sure, the parent of a DeSales grad, still involved in kids' athletics.
