Special. Memorable. Family

Where are you and what are you doing now?

I’m currently a Ramp Training Supervisor at UPS here in Louisville.

I enjoy teaching skills to new employees that they’ll use for the rest of their career while at UPS.

What is your favorite memory about DeSales?

My favorite memory is winning our second football state championship in 2014. Being able to celebrate all of our hard work and school pride with my teammates and brothers is a feeling that can’t be replicated.

Who influenced you most during your time at DeSales?

Coach Davis. He got the most out of his players, never letting us fall into complacency. The way he conducted his practices created a team bond that has lasted till this day.

What classes and learning experiences did you have at DeSales that are beneficial to the work you do?

All of the classes that incorporated critical thinking skills have benefited me. Rarely in life do things work out as planned, it takes adapting and problem solving to get most things accomplished.

What is the most important thing you learned while you were at DeSales?

Accountability. My teachers and coaches always held my peers and I to a high standard, pushing us to be the best we could be, even if we didn’t realize we had more to give.

What advice do you have for current (or potential) students at DeSales?

Get involved. The time you have at DeSales goes by quickly - create as many memories and bonds as you can. You truly get what you put into your time at DeSales.

What is your favorite DeSales Event? Why?

I enjoy the trivia nights, seeing old friends and teachers is always a great time.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I coach baseball here at DeSales. This is my second year with the team.

What is something people may not know about you?

While at WKU, I was elected president of my fraternity where I was able to travel across the country to various events.

Do you still stay in touch with any of your DeSales friends?

Absolutely. There’s still a core group of 8-10 of us that hang out regularly.

What’s next for you/where do you see yourself in five years?

I’d like to continue working at UPS, working my way up into upper management.
