High School Graduation Year

2016

What did you do right after graduation? College/career/travel/military?

I went to attend Union College to play football.

Please describe DeSales in three words.

Family, unity, excellence

Where are you and what are you doing now?

I’m currently working as a community support associate (mentor). I’ve been doing that for a few years now. I also run my own clothing line called FromDaBottom Clothing.

What do you like most about what you are doing?

What I like is that I’m able to impact people’s lives. I love to see the kids reactions when “Mr. Mike” sees them/picks them up. My occupation challenges me as a man, and it makes me strive to be a better person everyday.

What is your favorite memory about DeSales?

My favorite memories at DeSales were winning state championships, and just being able to come in those doors at DeSales and be apart of a loving community.

Who influenced you most during your time at DeSales?

The people that influenced me the most at my time at DeSales were Ms. Polman, Ms. Hawkins, and Harold Davis.

What classes and learning experiences did you have at DeSales that are beneficial to the work you do?

I would have to say theology, and it made me challenge myself to know more about Catholic Church , and it inspired me in some ways to lean on my beliefs.

What is the most important thing you learned while you were at DeSales?

To just be yourself, and give it all you got. It may be hard, but it will get easy.

What advice do you have for current (or potential) students at DeSales?

My fellow brothers, while you're at DeSales High School embrace every moment because you don’t get time back. Make sure you live every moment of your high school career, but always be smart and make good decisions. No matter what you do, just believe in yourself and never forget that where you came from!

What is your favorite DeSales Event? Why?

Colt fest is as my favorite DeSales Event

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to workout, watch movies, spend time with friends, photography, travel, and be lazy.

Do you still stay in touch with any of your DeSales friends?

Yes

What’s next for you/where do you see yourself in five years?

In the next five years I hope that my business will blossom to where I want it to be, relocated to another city, and hopefully return to college to finish my bachelors degree.
